How it all began: A Love Story

    In May of 1993, a teenager by the name of Paul Luckett from Jackson, MS set out to help people better understand and effectively use computers. Knowing that price was a major deterrent for some, Paul worked to overcome the cost barrier by developing his own brand of computers. In the den of his parent's house, Paul assembled computers for his friends and the members of his local church.

     At the age of 17, our founder applied for and received a Home Business Permit. Shortly thereafter, Luckett Technologies was born. Before the age of 21, Paul had done IT consulting, training and support for companies such as SkyTel (now a division of MCI) and Entergy Operations.
    
 

How We've Grown

Operations Move to Starkville, MS

    In 1998, Luckett Technologies becomes Luckett Technologies & Holdings because of the new spin-off companies created under its umbrella. Among which, were Image-Engineering, Luckett & Longstreet, LLJ Management, Wheel Adz Mobile Media and MR COMPUTER MAN. In 1999, Luckett Technologies & Holdings opens a new headquarters facility in Starkville, MS at the Mississippi Technology & Research Park. There, the company's focus was developing small business through efficient implementation of technology. Through partnering with the local chamber of commerce, Small Business Association and other tech firms, our company was able to offer free classes to the general public.


Services Made Available to Public

    In 2000, Luckett Technologies & Holdings, operating under the trade name Lutekk, makes its services available to the general public. In 2002, the company creates a spin-off, MR COMPUTER MAN, to better serve the  computing needs of their newly acquired customers. The company offers affordable computer solutions for both the home and office.
